When a former sports personality loses his career after an unexpected incident, he later discovers that his city is under threat from an unusual breed of creatures of an unknown origin. As the problem begins to escalate out of control and become more widespread, he pulls together a team of volunteers to help fight against the ever growing threat. But with electrical power being knocked out in many parts of the city, they must find a solution fast to restore order and prevent the downfall of mankind.
